What happened to Delilah on NCIS? McGee’s wife returns to cast Unbelievable Fact

The return of Delilah McGee to the NCIS cast takes place during the 2021 winter premiere.

Actress Margo Harshman is making a highly-anticipated return to the show as Delilah Fielding McGee in Season 18. Delilah is set to make appearances in the first two new episodes, marking her first return to the series in several years.

Delilah Fielding McGee is a character known as a Department of Defense employee, as well as the mother of Morgan and John McGee II. She is married to NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee and used to be a more frequent presence on the show.

The character of Delilah was first introduced in Season 10 during the episode “Damned If You Do.” Her first in-person appearance occurred in the episode titled “Whiskey Tango Foxtrot.” In her comeback to the NCIS cast, Margo Harshman is set to appear in the episodes titled “Sunburn” and “Head of the Snake.” These episodes will air as a double feature on January 19

In the Season 11 episode titled “Kill Chain,” the terrorist Benham Parsa, leader of the Brotherhood of Doubt, orchestrates an explosion at a gala attended by Tim and Delilah, resulting in Delilah sustaining serious injuries. This incident leaves her paralyzed and reliant on a wheelchair for mobility, and her character undergoes a challenging journey as she adjusts to her life-altering injury.

It’s important to note that the actress portraying Delilah, Margo Cathleen Harshman, is not paralyzed. However, actor Daryl “Chill” Mitchell, known for his role as Investigative Computer Specialist Patton Plame on NCIS: New Orleans, has been in a wheelchair since a motorcycle accident in 2001.

Margo Harshman has an extensive acting career beyond her role as Delilah Fielding McGee. Notably, she portrayed Alex Jensen in a recurring role on The Big Bang Theory, where she served as Sheldon Cooper’s assistant and delivered a humorous performance during her time on the show.

Prior to her role on The Big Bang Theory, Margo appeared as Tawny Dean on the Disney series Even Stevens and reprised her role in the Even Stevens Movie. She also played Brooke Franklin in the series Run of the House for a season.

In addition to her television work, Margo has made appearances in various films, often in smaller roles. Her filmography includes titles such as “Fired Up!,” “Sorority Row,” “College Road Trip,” and “Extreme Movie.”
