CBS Revealed Premiere Date for NCIS Season 21 – Find Out When the Show Returns

The actors’ strike has ended, and CBS has set return dates for both ‘NCIS’ and the spinoff ‘NCIS: Hawai’i. The lengthy NCIS break is coming to an end. CBS has confirmed a premiere date for season 21 of the military police drama, now that the writers’ and actors’ strikes have been resolved. In addition, we now know when the spinoff series NCIS: Hawai’i will return.

NCIS Season 21 is set to kick off on Monday, February 12 at 9 p.m. ET. Expressing his joy, NCIS actor Brian Dietzen, known for portraying Dr. Jimmy Palmer, eagerly anticipated returning to work after the months-long SAG-AFTRA strike came to an end. Dietzen shared his excitement on X.

Additionally, he revealed that the upcoming season would pay tribute to the late David McCallum, who sadly passed away at 90 in September. McCallum had portrayed Chief Medical Examiner Donald “Ducky” Mallard since the show’s first season.

CBS has yet to release details regarding the title or storyline of the NCIS Season 21 premiere. However, the new season is expected to pick up after the dramatic season 20 finale cliffhanger.

In the episode titled “Black Sky,” undercover agent Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) and the NCIS team successfully thwarted a Russian terrorist plot. Torres found himself imprisoned while undercover, where he encountered a young man claiming he was framed for fraud. This convict drew the attention of an enigmatic figure (Al Sapienza) who had an unexpected and unexplained connection to Torres.

In a phone conversation with his sister, Torres mentioned tracking down this mysterious individual, referring to him as “the cretin” who was still alive and active. The episode concluded with Torres waiting inside the mystery man’s house. Upon seeing Torres, the man recognized him as “Nicky” and revealed knowledge about the agent’s mother and sister.

He claimed to have changed, but Torres was skeptical. He pulled out a revolver and gave the man a grim warning, saying he intended to “watch you d1e.” Is Torres on the verge of committing cold-blooded murd3r? When NCIS returns in 2024, hopefully we’ll get some answers.
